英国开放大学课程设计与开发过程探析及启示

摘要 英国开放大学的课程资源建设一直为开放远程教育学界所关注,其课程资源建设的经验可为我国开放大学课程资源建设提供一定的借鉴。英国开放大学的课程设计与开发要接受英国高等教育质量保证署的建议和指导;课程设计与开发由学术团队和制作团队两部分人员共同完成;课程的设计与开发必须遵循规定的流程,一般要经过机会评估、撰写商业计划书、课程说明、首期试点后评估和生命周期评估5个阶段;设计和开发新课程,制作团队通常要考虑课程学习目标、课程所在的层次、课程长度、学生支持服务的程度以及测评和课程生命周期等相关要素。 The course resource construction of the Open University UK(OUUK)has always been the concern of the academic circles of open distance education.Its experience of course resource construction can provide reference and implications for that of open universities in China.The course design and development of OUUK must follow the advice and instructions of Quality Assurance Agency in the UK.Course design and development in OUUK should be jointly completed by academic team and production team,and should also follow specified procedures,which generally go through five stages:namely opportunity evaluation,working out business plan,course specification,post-pilot evaluation,and life span evaluation.When designing and developing new courses,the production team usually needs to consider relevant elements such as course learning objectives,course level,course length,degree of student support services,evaluation and course life cycle.
