传统阵营在中国画现代性变革中的方位

Position of Traditionalists in the Process of Modern Transformation of Chinese Painting

摘要 "现代性"的介入对20世纪中国美术尤其是中国画创作带来了巨大变化。面对"现代性"语境,传统中国画在革命与调适、探索与改良、守旧与出新、颠覆与融合等观念的冲突与纷争中艰难转型。一方面,部分画家主张对西画的模仿与借鉴来改造中国画;另一方面,以吴昌硕、齐白石、黄宾虹、潘天寿等为代表的文人画家则继续朝着传统纵深掘进,不仅在创作实践上自觉地应对现代性的挑战,而且从理论层面也做出回应,以检验与捍卫传统中国画的品格。 Intervention of"modernity"has brought great changes to creation of the Chinese art in the 20 th century,especially Chinese paintings.Impacted by the"modernity",traditional Chinese painting has gone through difficult transition among disputes over revolution and adaptation,exploration and improvement,conservatism and innovation,subversion and integration,etc.Some painters advocate to remold Chinese painting by imitating the western paintings,while literati painters represented by Wu Changshuo,Qi Baishi,Huang Binhong and Pan Tianshou continue to dig deeper into the traditions.They consciously meet the challenge of modernity from both practical and theoretical levels so as to test and defend the characters of traditional Chinese painting.
