作为应用语言学的生态语言学

Ecolinguistics as Applied Linguistics

本文认为生态语言学属于广义的应用语言学(即语言学应用),是一个以问题为导向的交叉学科。在区分生态语言学和语言生态学的基础上,本文指出:1)这两个领域都是语言学家所研究的内容,它们大同小异;2)语言学家眼中的语言生态学与生态学家所认同的语言生态学是小同大异。本文认为,无论是跨学科还是交叉学科,总有一个学科是核心的,起关键作用的。本文旨在通过讨论生态语言学和语言生态学的异同,说明我们有必要对跨学科问题进行深入思考。

This paper holds that ecolinguistics is problem-oriented and interdisciplinary,belonging to applied linguistics in the broad sense(i.e.,linguistics applied).Based on a distinction between ecolinguistics and language ecology,this paper points out that the two fields are both the research areas of linguistics,covering more or less the same areas,and that the linguistic ecology in the eyes of linguists and that in the eyes of ecologists are quite different.It is argued that in terms of crossdisciplinary and interdisciplinary studies,there is always a discipline that is the core and plays a key role.This paper,through the discussion of ecolinguistics and language ecology,aims to illustrate the necessity for us to think deeply about the interdisciplinary problems.
