2021年7月,美国知名智库兰德公司发布《打击社交媒体上的外国虚假信息》报告,重点分析了大国竞争时代一些国家如何利用社交媒体上的虚假信息获益,并建议美国举全国之力,集政府、军方、工业界及相关盟友之力共同应对社交媒体虚假信息威胁,从而确保美国信息战优势和国家安全。报告发布前,兰德公司通过150余次原创采访,获取了大量一手信息,并建议美政府通过实施“多层防御策略”获取最终信息作战优势。

In July 2021,Rand Corporation,a well-known American think tank,released a report Combating Foreign Disinformation on Social Media.This report focuses on how some countries can benefit from the disinformation on social media in the era of great power competition,and suggests that the United States should take the national strength and gather the strength of the government,military,industry and relevant allies to jointly deal with the threat of false information on social media,so as to ensure the advantages of American information war and national security.Before the report was released,Rand obtained a large amount of first-hand information through more than 150 original interviews,and suggested that the U.S.government obtain the final information operation advantage by implementing the"multi-layer defense strategy".
