《第二语言发音评估》(Assessment in Second Language Pronunciation)是由美国北亚利桑那大学教授Okim Kang和普渡大学教授April Ginther联合世界范围内多位知名语言测评专家编纂而成,于2018年由Routledge出版社出版。全书梳理了发音评估领域的基本概念,结合发音物理特征、语言测评理论与实践、计算机辅助语音测评新技术等相关研究,以及现有的有关第二语言发音和语言评估的理论,对该领域内有限的文献进行综述和补充。本文简要介绍并评述该书。

Assessment in Second Language Pronunciation is compiled by Okim Kang, a professor at the University of Northern Arizona, and April Ginther, a professor at Purdue University, as well as a group of leading language assessment experts around the world. The book is published in 2018 by Rutledge Press, which combs through the basic concepts in the field of pronunciation evaluation, combines the physical characteristics of pronunciation, the theory and practice of language evaluation, the new technology of computer-aided speech evaluation, and the existing theories about the pronunciation and language evaluation of second language, and summarizes and supplements the limited literature in this field. This article introduces and reviews this book.
