At this stage,with the rapid development of economic society and urban construction,people's material and cultural needs continue to increase,and the shortage of energy resources is becoming more serious.Therefore,based on the sustainable development strategy,it is necessary to continuously enhance people’s awareness of energy conservation and environmental protection,and to further improve national energy.Resource structure,accelerate the construction of a“clean,low-carbon,safe and efficient”energy system.Natural gas is a clean fuel and an important resource for environmental protection.As the demand for electricity consumption in the whole society continues to increase,the application of natural gas-fueled gas turbine generator sets in the field of power generation is also increasing,which can give full play to the start and stop of gas turbine generator sets.Application advantages such as flexibility,cleanness and efficiency,and strong peak shaving function.However,there is still a certain gap between the energy-saving management measures and operating energy consumption level of my country's gas turbine generator sets and the advanced level of foreign countries.This article analyzes the importance of energy saving and consumption reduction in gas-fired power plants,and discusses the transformation and optimization strategies from the aspects of process system energy saving technology,operation mode,and unit operation and maintenance management.
