在当前一般的选煤厂的设计时,都没有考虑到瓦斯治理工作的需要,传统的选煤厂中也没有配备瓦斯治理的相关设备和设施。但是对于高瓦斯的选煤厂而言,煤仓中的瓦斯存在着集聚和超量的问题,这其中的浓度远远超过了《选煤厂安全规程》中的相关安全标准,也就导致了后续的生产中这成为了严重的安全隐患问题,对于生产和生产工人而言都是生命、财产方面的巨大威胁。在高瓦斯矿井选煤场中煤仓是瓦斯主要聚集地,也是重要的危险源之一。
