识解视域下转喻的在场研究 被引量:5

A Study of Presence in Metonymy Through the Lens of Construal

摘要 在认知语言学框架内,转喻一般被视作一种认知工具和思维方式。作为认知语言学的一种重要理论,识解与转喻之间存在着紧密的联系。转喻的运作机制涉及详略度、聚焦、凸显与视角等,同时转喻与西方修辞学中的"在场"概念也存在一定的关联。本文在梳理"在场"概念的基础上,基于识解与转喻之间的关系以及识解对在场的阐释,从识解的维度探究转喻的"在场"。研究表明,不同的识解方式影响不同的转喻选择,而不同的转喻选择会折射出不同的在场,体现出语篇构建者的特定意图。 Metonymy is interpreted as a cognitive tool and a cognitive approach in the framework of Cognitive linguistics.Construal,as an important component of Cognitive Linguistics,is closely related to metonymy.The operation mechanism of metonymy involves those dimensions of construal,such as level of specificity,focusing,salience,and perspective,etc.Metonymy is also related to the concep"presence"in one way or another.This study aims to explore the meaning of"presence"in metonymy based on a li-terature review of the concept of"presence",the relationship between metonymy and construal,and the interpretation of"pre-sence"from the perspective of construal.It is concluded that construal exerts some impact on the choices of metonymy,and diffe-rent metonymies can reflect different meanings of"presence",and thus revealing particular intentions of the text producer.
