习近平"七一讲话"提出的"两个创造"重大论断,是对中国特色社会主义的世界历史性意义的新概括。中国式现代化新道路是中国共产党思想解放所形成的精神传统的逻辑结果,赋予了现代化的新内涵、新的结构功能和新的精神境界。中国特色社会主义创造了人类文明新形态,是一种总体性历史叙述,需要从总体上把握才能深刻理解。

In the Speech at the Ceremony Marking the Centenary of the Communist Party of China, President Xi Jinping put forward a major thesis—"Two Creations". It is a new summary of the significance of socialism with Chinese characteristics from the perspective of the world history. The new and uniquely Chinese path to modernization is a logical fruit of the cultural-ethical tradition formed by the ideological emancipation of the CPC, and it has endowed modernization with new connotations, new structural functions and new cultural-ethical inspirations. Socialism with Chinese characteristics has created a new model for human advancement. This is a holistic historical narrative that needs to be grasped as a totality.
