茶是宋人生活中不可或缺的一部分。宋文对茶之起源、名茶种类、茶之种植和煎煮、茶之功用、宫廷赐茶等日常茶事进行了描述,且赋予茶以君子品格,并将茶事和参禅悟道联系起来。这些茶俗书写补史书之阙疑,有利于茶史资料的收集和整理,并且揭橥了宋人的精神世界,阐明文人和茶的密切关系,因而具有较高的史料价值和文学价值。

Tea was indispensable in Song Dynasty.The origin of tea,the types of famous tea,the cultivation and decocting of tea,the function of tea,the custom of tea given by the court and other daily tea affairs were described in articles.Tea was endowed with the character of gentleman.Tea affairs were connected with meditation.The writing of tea customs making up the historical records,was conducive to the collection of the history of tea.The writing exposed the spiritual world of the people,elucidating the close relationship between the literati and the tea,which has high historical and literary values.
