The detailed exploration of IN Memory of the Forgotten boasts a broad historical vision,focusing on three dimensions.First,in order to grasp the essay,we need to have an overall understanding of Chinese revolutionary culture in line with historical logic since the late Qing Dynasty.In Chinese modern history,the slaughter of participants in reforms and revolutions in peaceful areas is a mournful tragedy after the"five martyrs in the League of Leftist Writers".Second,the purpose of the essay is to record and protest the cruel slaughter and maintain historical memory.Third,the more profound and more considerate purpose is to presents the mutual recognition and adoration of human beings,who approach each other naturally,building trust and intimacy due to the shared spiritual media or common interests into literature,art and virtue elements.The latter undoubtedly exacerbated people’s sense of tragedy about cruel slaughter.
