The coin writing has a long history, which not only has become the symbol of currency, but also sublimated into a gathering place for calligraphy art. The coin writing in pre-Qin Dynasty was simple and inherited the charm of oracle bone inscriptions and inscriptions on ancient bronze objects. After Five Tang Dynasties, the coin writing has reflected more calligraphy style. Since then, the famous calligraphers or emperors used various fonts to write the coin character, which organically integrates the economy and art, promotes the spread and development of calligraphy, and contributes to the circulation of money as well as the stability of market.
