Confrontation between Tradition and Trend: Doubts on E-sports as A Sport

运用文献资料法,对体育的本质及功能进行论述,对电子竞技是否属于体育提出质疑。剖析电竞本质,认为电子竞技与体育在竞技层面虽有共性,但究其本质,电子竞技属于智力支配性游戏,与身体主导性的体育有区别。

Using the method of literature,this paper discusses the essence and function of sports,and questions whether E-sports belongs to sports. By analyzing the essence of e-sports,this paper believes that although E-sports and sports have similarities at the competitive level,their essence is that E-sports belongs to intellectual dominant games,which is different from physical dominant sports.
