Strategies for management of colorectal cancer patients during COVID-19 epidemic

在抗击新型冠状病毒肺炎疫情过程中,为保障肿瘤患者这一特殊群体的诊治需求,有效的疫情管理及防控策略至关重要。河北医科大学第四医院外二科结合国家卫生健康委对新型冠状病毒肺炎相关要求,从患者就诊、住院、手术、术后管理、出院及随访等方面制定了一系列管理和防控策略,保证了疫情期间结直肠癌患者有序就诊并有效控制院内感染,为疫情期间开展结直肠癌外科医疗工作提供了经验参考。

In the process of fighting against the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),effective epidemic management and control strategies are essential to ensure the diagnosis and treatment needs of cancer patients,a special population.Based on the relevant requirements of National Health Commission for COVID-19,the Second Department of Surgery of the Fourth Hospital of Hebei Medical University has formulated a series of management and prevention and control strategies with regard to patient consultation,hospitalization,operation,postoperative management,discharge,and follow-up.This can ensure the orderly treatment of colorectal cancer patients and effectively control nosocomial infection during the epidemic,providing an empirical reference for colorectal surgery during the epidemic.
