Ying Xiuren’s Early Experience and Poetry Creation

应修人加入“湖畔诗社”前,丰富的社会经历与多元化的艺术资源使他的早期诗歌创作带有明显的新旧交融的痕迹,诗歌创作倾向于人道主义与乐观主义的思想,注重选取花草类和田园类意象以营造恬淡的田园意境,语言上容纳了旧诗的格律特征、新诗的口语化特征及民歌民谣的技法等。应修人诗作的多元尝试是新诗发轫期诗歌探索的缩影,几乎囊括了各种可能的路径。他在格律存留、抒情方式等多方面均提供了有益经验,但频繁转换创作路径,也令部分诗歌的思想与艺术不够成熟。

Before joining the“Lakeside Poetry Society”,Ying Xiuren had diversified social experiences and artistic resources.This has affected the poetic characteristics of his early poetry creation,which has obvious traces of exploration of the blending of the old and the new.His early poetic features are shown in his tendency to humanitarianism and optimism,focusing on the selection of flowers and plants and pastoral images to create a quiet pastoral mood.His language contains the metrical features of old poems,the colloquial features of new poems,folk songs and ballads.His multiple attempts are the epitome of poetic exploration in the early period of new poetry,which almost covers all possible paths.He has provided useful experience in many aspects,such as rhyme retention and lyric style.However,the frequent conversion of creative resources also makes the thought and art of some poems not mature enough.
