习近平总书记在庆祝中国共产党成立100周年大会上的讲话中强调,勇于自我革命是中国共产党区别于其他政党的显著标志。加强党的自我革命、坚持自身价值追求保持政党先进性纯洁性不变,是马克思主义政党理论的重要内涵,党的百年历史就是一部在自我革命中实现自我超越和发展的奋斗史。中国共产党肩负着自我革命和社会革命的双重使命,在新时代,以高度的政治自觉推进党的自我革命,不仅要进一步加强党的自身建设、推动全面从严治党,更要努力践行初心使命,推进社会革命的历史进程。

General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized in his speech at the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China that a distinctive feature of the CPC from other political parties lies in the bravery for self-revolution.Strengthening the Party’s self-revolution,adhering to the pursuit of self-value,keeping the Party’s advanced nature and purity stable are the important connotations of Marxist Party theory,the Party’s history of one hundred years being a history of struggle to achieve self-transcendence and self-development in its self-revolution.The CPC shoulders the dual missions of self-revolution and social revolution.In the new era,to promote the Party’s self-revolution with a high degree of political awareness,we must not only focus on the Party’s self-construction,promote strict administration of the Party in an all-round way,but also remain true to its original aspiration and keep its initial mission firmly in mind to advance the historical process of social revolution.
