摘要
近十年(2010—2019)英语世界关于《三国演义》与通俗文化的研究大有进展,研究对象包括日本的净瑠璃、动漫,中国的耽美同人以及影视剧创作,朝鲜半岛的小说改编、读者群转变以及传播策略。研究方法也不限于传统的文学研究,囊括了文化学、传播学、社会学与人种志等跨学科方法。随着这些跨学科研究的发展,海外《三国演义》研究还可以再进一步思考小说文本与其他国家通俗文化结合后所呈现的形式与特点,小说文本与当地文学、文化发展之间的联系,小说诸多外译本之间的关联,以及海外教学中《三国演义》的讲授方法等问题。
Research on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms and pop culture in the Anglophone world has made great progress in the last decade(2010—2019). Scholars are concerned with various artistic adaptations of the novel in Bunraku and anime in Japan, danmei creation(slash fanfiction), film, and drama in China, as well as innovative fiction adaptation, readership shifts, and promotion strategies on the Korean Peninsula. Research methods expand to interdisciplinary studies, including cultural studies, communication studies, sociology, and ethnography. With this new development, overseas studies of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms can further exploration into how the original text of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms being transformed into the pop culture of other countries, endowed with different features through translation and adaptation, as well as teaching.
