从语言顺应论视角看《疯狂原始人2》的字幕翻译

On Subtitle Translation of The Croods 2 from Perspective of Linguistic Adaptation Theory

影视作品的国际化传播离不开优秀的电影字幕翻译。语言顺应论能够较为全面地分析字幕译者的理念和策略。为探究该理论在电影字幕翻译实践中的应用,以《疯狂原始人2》的官方译本为例,以语言顺应论为理论基础,从语言结构顺应和语境顺应两方面进行详细分析。研究发现:在语言顺应论指导下,译者可在语言结构和语境两方面的顺应中,采取音译、归化、转换、语序调整、增译等多种翻译策略和方法,从而使影片对目标语观众的顺应达到最佳程度。

The international communication of film works is inseparable from excellent film subtitle translation.Linguistic adaptation theory can comprehensively analyze the ideas and strategies of subtitle translators.In order to explore the application of this theory in the practice of film subtitle translation,taking the official translation of The Croods 2 as an example and based on the theory of linguistic adaptation,this paper makes a detailed analysis from the two aspects of language structure adaptation and context adaptation.It is found that under the guidance of linguistic adaptation theory,translators can adopt a variety of translation strategies and methods in the adaptation of language structure and context,such as transliteration,domestication,transformation,word order adjustment and additional translation,so as to optimize the adaptation of the film to the target language audience.
