One of the goals of higher vocational education is to cultivate a group of high-quality and all-round talents for the society.It is very important to cultivate students’ abilities in multiple aspects in teaching. As higher vocational students under the background of education in the new era, they should master good basic English abilities. When carrying out English courses, higher vocational colleges need to combine the characteristics of students’ professional disciplines, update the course content, and adjust the teaching mode of higher vocational English classroom, so as to provide driving force for the development of higher vocational English courses and the guarantee of classroom effectiveness.
