湖南衡山方言前山话中“时[s■11]”做虚词里的语气词,分布在陈述句和反问句的中间和末尾,在对比中体现责备性质的强调语气,可以引入话题、承接话题、引起对比。它从时间词“时”逐步虚化出来。

“时[s■11]”in Qianshan dialect of Hengshan in Hunan province is used as a modal word in function words.It is mainly located in the middle and the end of declarative sentences and rhetorical questions,which emphasizes the tone of reproach in the contrast.It has multiple functions of introducing topics,taking on topics,and cause the contrast.It gradually blurs out from the time word"时".
