Fang Zhimin’s Discussion on Soviet Spirit

方志敏在《我从事革命斗争的略述》一文中提出了赣东北苏维埃的五种精神:即民主精神、创造精神、进步精神、刻苦精神和自我批评的精神。方志敏论述的苏维埃精神,是苏区精神的早期表述,也是中国共产党精神谱系的重要组成部分。正是由于赣东北苏维埃发扬了苏维埃精神,使得赣东北苏维埃的各项事业蒸蒸日上,生机勃勃,创造了第一等的工作。中华苏维埃第一次全国代表大会授予方志敏红旗勋章一枚,以嘉奖其领导建设赣东北苏维埃政权的功勋;在中华苏维埃第二次全国代表大会上,毛泽东同志称赞赣东北苏区的同志们“有很好的创造”“是模范工作者”。

Fang Zhimin put forward the five spirits of northeast Jiangxi Soviet in the article“A Brief Account of My Revolutionary Struggle”,namely democratic spirit,creative spirit,progressive spirit,hardworking spirit and self-criticism spirit.The Soviet spirit discussed by Fang Zhimin is the early expression of the soviet area spirit,and also an important part of the spiritual pedigree of the Communist Party of China.It is because the Northeast Jiangxi Soviet carried forward the soviet spirit,making the northeast Jiangxi Soviet's various undertakings flourishing,full of vitality,created the first-class work.The first National Congress of the Chinese Soviet awarded Fang Zhimin a red flag medal to reward his leadership in the construction of the Soviet regime in northeast Jiangxi province.At the second National Congress of the Chinese Soviet,Comrade Mao Zedong praised the comrades in the Soviet areas in northeast Jiangxi province for their"excellent creations"and"exemplary workers".
