On the Value Orientation of Individual Narrative in Yan’an Literature and Art

五四启蒙思想凸显了对个人主义的价值观追求,受其影响,这一时期的文艺作品在价值取向上表现为对个体尊严、个人权利的关注与尊重。随着民族、阶级革命的全面爆发与不断升级,延安文艺中的价值取向转变为对革命理想的坚持与对革命事业的奉献,这一价值取向的转变标志着追求个人主义的个体价值观逐渐被追求民族独立、阶级解放的革命价值观所取代。个体价值观成为革命价值观的组成部分,革命价值观构成延安文艺作品的创作旨归。

The May 4 th thought has highlighted people’s pursuit towards individual ethics.Under its influence,the literature and art works of this period shows concern and respect to individual dignity and rights.As the national crisis worsens,the literature and art works of the Yan’an period shifts its attention to the fate of the country and the livelihood of the people.This change in literary and art ethics symbolizes that the ideal of individuals to pursue independent and complete value of life has been gradually replaced by the revolutionary value of national independence.Such revolutionary ethics has become more popular than the individual value advocated during the May 4 th period.In literature narratives,the individual ethics and values are developed based on revolutionary needs,and the goal and requirements of the revolutionary ethics have always been followed and emphasized.
