The incidence of chronic wounds is increasing gradually,and the recovery is long and easy to relapse.Providing quality wound care is a complex combination of organization,expertise,facilities and funding,in which wound outpatient plays a key role.As a highly developed country in medical technology,the United States has established wound outpatient for a long time.It has developed from a single wound treatment in the past to a scientific management and operation system with multi-disciplinary cooperation and continuous care for a variety of chronic wounds.This paper introduces the operation mode and characteristics of wound outpatient in America,which can provide reference for the development and improvement of wound clinic in China.
