Research on Dimensional Relevance of Inequality Based on Multidimensional Framework

在中国社会主要矛盾发生转变的背景下,研究发展的不均衡具有重要意义,而个体获得角度的不平等是不平衡不充分发展内涵的重要组成部分。在量化结果视角的中国多维不平等基础上进行各维度不平等间的关系分析十分必要。通过指数分解和面板数据的分位数回归分别从收入、教育和医疗维度探究各维度不平等间的相互作用。研究发现,教育不平等、医疗不平等与收入不平等间存在双向影响:教育不平等、医疗不平等均能强化收入不平等,这意味着如果教育维度或者医疗维度的差距扩大,会在一定程度上加强收入不平等。同时,收入作为人力资本投资和健康投资最重要的约束条件,其差距会转变成教育和医疗维度上的不平等。

Under the background of the transformation of the main social contradictions in China,it is of great significance to study the imbalance of development.At the same time,the inequality of individual acquisition is an important part of the connotation of unbalanced and inadequate development.It is necessary to analyze the relationship between different dimensions of inequality on the basis of China’s multidimensional inequality from the perspective of quantitative results.Through exponential decomposition and quantile regression of panel data,the interaction between inequality in various dimensions is explored from the perspectives of income,education and health.The study found that there are two-way effects between education inequality,medical inequality and income inequality:Education inequality and medical inequality can strengthen income inequality,which means that if the gap between education dimension and medical dimension expands,income inequality will be strengthened to a certain extent.At the same time,as the most important constraint of human capital investment and health investment,income gap will turn into inequality in education and health.
