从礼貌原则看《奥赛罗》婚姻审判中的“人情博弈”

On the“Favor-gaming”in Othello s Marriage Trial from the Perspective of Politeness Principle

在《奥赛罗》的婚姻审判一幕中,控辩审三方台词所包含的迥异于庭审话语的寒暄与客套显示出该审判含有人情成分的迹象。在对三方各自的利益诉求和人情筹码予以剖释的基础上,运用利奇的礼貌原则分析他们的礼貌和失礼言辞的发出目的,及其对于实现各自法庭目的的辅助效用,可以衡量人情因素在这场审判中的分量。

In the scene of Othello s marriage trial,the lines of three parties of prosecution,defense and trial contain phatic communions and polite formulas which are quite different from the courtroom discourse,which is the proof that the trial was largely driven by human relationships.Based on the analysis of the three parties interest demands and bargaining chip,this paper takes Leech s Politeness Principle as a theoretical perspective to analyze the sending purpose of polite and impolite words in the three parties discourse,and its auxiliary effect on reaching their respective interest demands,so as to measure the weight of human factors in the trial.
