基于人机翻译的政治文献无主句外宣翻译策略

Overseas-Targeted Publicity Translation Strategies of Subjectless Sentences in Political Documents Based on Human-Computer Interactive Translation

政治文献体现了习近平总书记治国理政的总体思想,政治文献的外宣翻译是向世界各国传播中国声音的重要手段,译者需同时具备政治意识、服务外国受众的意识和时效意识。人工智能时代,人机交互翻译是翻译行业的大势所趋。基于此,选取有道翻译作为机器翻译的代表,以十九大报告作为政治文献的代表,以汉语无主句为研究对象,以中央编译局十九大报告英文译本为参考译文,以“译意”和“译味”为翻译指导目标,探讨基于人机翻译的政治文献在译前编审和译后编审中的翻译策略。研究发现采取“译前编审+机译+译后编审”的模式,可以使译文尽量达到“意”“味”兼备的目标,从而大幅提高外宣翻译的效率。

Political documents reflect General Secretary Xi Jinping s general thoughts on governance.Overseas-targeted publicity translation of political documents is an important means to spread the voice of China to the world.The translator needs to be aware of politics,serving foreign readers and timeliness at the same time.In the era of artificial intelligence,human-computer interactive translation is the trend of translation industry.This paper selects Youdao Translation as the representative of machine translation,takes the Report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China as the representative of political documents,takes Chinese subjectless sentences as the research object,takes the English version of the Report by Central Compilation and Translation Bureau as the reference translation,and takes“translating the meaning;translating the original flavor”as the goal of translation guidance to explore the translation strategies of political documents based on human-computer interactive translation in pre-editing and post-editing process.It is found that the mode of“pre-editing+machine translation+post-editing”can help translate both the meaning and the original flavor,thus greatly improving the efficiency of overseas-targeted publicity translation.
