As the birthplace of the Party and the starting place of its original aspiration,Shanghai resolutely implements the instructions of the CPC Central Committee and General Secretary Xi Jinping to put Party building as the guiding,crucial and decisive work of Shanghai development.Under the general requirements of Party building for the new era,Shanghai focuses on the central task,serves the overall situation,and keeps on exploring ways of innovation to improve the quality and level of Party building and ensure the right direction of reform and opening-up for upholding and improving the institutions by which the Party exercises leadership,serving and supporting national strategy,promoting high-quality development,guiding the modernization of urban governance by Party building,securing the organization system of the Party and strengthening the basis of local communities.In the future,Shanghai must think in big picture,uphold and strengthen overall Party leadership,keep on reform and innovation,put the people first,focus on solving problems,strengthen the training of core members to improve governance ability,strive to make new achievements during the new stage of development,and continue to create new miracles for the new era.
