As an important public fundamental course,advanced mathematics is a compulsory course for most majors.In addition to subject knowledge and skills instruction,the course should also include ideological and political education elements and their functions.According to the characteristics of the subject and college’s actual situation,the important significance of ideological and political education in advanced mathematics course is explained,and the integration of the ideological and political elements and the teaching of advanced mathematics is explored from the four aspects of philosophy,practical cases,historical elements,and routine management.Under the guidance of course ideological and political concepts,the emphasis on ideological and political teaching in advanced mathematics course is of far-reaching significance in shaping healthy personality and noble sentiments of college students,and shaping a new situation of“moral education cultivating talents”throughout the whole process and all staff.
