With unity-governance-sharing as three logical perspectives,this paper gives a systematic analysis of the essence and implications of Xi Jinping's theory on national development in the new era,covering the core concepts of state construction,political integration,shared social governance,cultural identity and the strengthening of the community of the Chinese nation.The characteristics of this theory include the following aspects:the concept of the core values of socialism is the driving force of integrated development,while the national development relies on state governance,shared rights,institutional guarantee,targeted policies and projects.Based on the historical orientation of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the strengthening of the community of the Chinese nation,the key elements of Xi Jinping's theory on national development in the new era are the newest expression of the development of Chinalization of Marxism,the guiding principle for the high-quality development of ethnic minority areas,and a key part of the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics that guides the political development in China.
