国际专业报告视域下的公共图书馆发展态势

Development Trends of Public Libraries from the Perspective of International Professional Reports

文章在系统搜集77份公共图书馆相关国际专业研究报告的基础上,依照影响力和时效性标准,对来自于3家重要学术机构、6家重要图书馆专业组织的17份研究报告进行内容分析,透过报告文本中有关公共图书馆发展的环境、经费、服务、资源、技术、管理、合作等内容的表述,观察并总结了公共图书馆九大发展态势:公共图书馆所面临的外部环境更加复杂、所秉持的公平正义更加重要、所能获得的公共财政保障力度持续减弱、主动彰显价值的必要性更加紧迫、更加关注空间资源投入、更加重视21世纪素养培育、更加注重运用新兴科技、更加注重跨界合作、更加关注馆员专业性提升。

According to the criteria of influence and timeliness,17 ones are selected out of 77 international professional research reports on public libraries,which are issued by academic institutions,professional library organizations and so on.Based on an analysis of their description of public libraries’environments,funding,services,resources,technology,management,and cooperation,this paper summarizes the following nine development trends of public libraries.(1)Public libraries would face more complicated external environments.(2)Public libraries should do more to uphold fairness and justice.(3)Public libraries would obtain decreasing public financial guarantees.(4)Public libraries should be more active to demonstrate their values.(5)Public libraries should pay more attention to the investment of space resources.(6)Public libraries should pay more attention to the cultivation of 21st-century literacy.(7)Public libraries should pay more attention to the use of emerging technologies.(8)Public libraries should pay more attention to cross-border co-operations.(9)Public libraries should pay more attention to the improvement of librarians’professional competence.
