数据科学研究生教育的多学科比较研究

Multidisciplinary Comparative Research on Graduate Education in Data Science

数据科学作为一门应用型学科,在很多领域都发挥着重要的作用。目前许多国内外高校纷纷在不同学科领域开设数据科学及相关专业,以应对大数据产业日益增大的人才缺口。文章通过遍历QS图书馆与信息管理专业排名前50的学校官网,对图书情报、经济与工商管理、计算机科学与技术、数学与统计4个学科的数据科学相关硕士专业的开设现状、培养目标、入学要求、课程设置、职业前景进行对比分析。相比其他3个学科,图书情报学科开设的数据科学硕士专业具有浓厚的图情色彩,更加注重“以人为本”的理念,但也存在领域和实践类课程开设较少的问题,这是今后图情学科数据科学相关专业努力的方向之一。

As an applied discipline,data science plays an important role in many fields.At present,to cope with the growing talent gap in the big data industry,many universities at home and abroad have opened data science or relevant majors in such disciplinary fields as Library and Information Science,Economy and Business Administration,Computer Science and Technology,Mathematics and Statistics.Through a survey of the official websites of top 50 universities in QS Library and Information Science,this paper makes a comparative analysis of the current situation,training objectives,admission requirements,curriculum,and career prospects of their master programs of data science offered in different disciplines.Compared with the other three kinds,the master programs of data science offered in Library and Information Science have more characteristics of Library and Information Science and attach more importance to the concept of“human-centeredness”,though there have been few field and practice courses.
