Function requirement and technology are the main impetus for the development of architectural design theory and practice.Skin of athletic architecture gained independent design system because of its unique usage mode,and computer-aided drawing promoted parametric design.Gradually,athletic architecture became the very design paradigm for the parametric design of skin.Based on the study of design theory of skin and collation of large databases,the paper briefly describes the parametric design logic,and analyzes in detail how to realize the parametric design of linear skin in sports architecture,and its practice and application.
