物本论建筑学与“漠然”建筑学的对抗——关于美国两类建筑观的探讨

The Confrontation Between Object-oriented Ontology Architecture and"Indifference"Architecture:Discussion on the Two types of Architecture Views in the United States

长久以来,美国东、西海岸建筑院校存在着两种截然不同的建筑思想,以西海岸和部分东海岸院校所倡导的物本论建筑学思想在数字技术的时代大背景下蓬勃发展,发展出一套以细节美学为主要出发点的建筑设计方法论。而另一方面,以传统建筑类型学和建筑历史为参考的“漠然”建筑学则提倡完全不同的建筑观。两种建筑学思想发生了对抗。文章以一次建筑学的辩论为切入点,分析总结两种美式建筑观念的起源和各自的代表教授学者的作品,对比两者的学术体系及特点,最后分析对当下中国建筑学教育和实践的借鉴意义。

There have been two distinct architectural ideas in the east and west coast architecture schools of the United States.The material-based architectural ideas advocated by the west coast and part of the east coast architecture schools have developed vigorously in the era of digital technology,and developed a set of architectural design methodology with detail aesthetics as the main starting point.On the other hand,"indifference"architecture,which draws on traditional architectural typology and architectural history,advocates a completely different view of architecture.There was a confrontation between the two architectural ideas.This paper takes an architectural debate as the starting point,analyzes and summarizes the origin of the two American architectural ideas and the works of the professors and scholars respectively,compares the academic systems and characteristics of the two,and finally analyzes the reference significance for the current Chinese architectural education and practice.
