"LESS IS MORE":Comparative Study of Three Glass Houses

现代主义建筑相对于传统建筑给人以极简的印象,文章通过对三位现代主义建筑大师作品比较研究,发现现代主义建筑的“少”并不是“无”,而是利用新材料、新结构,通过建筑的基本语汇表达现代建筑时空新思维与美学新特征。

Compared with traditional architecture,modernist architecture gives people the impression of minimalism.Through the comparative study of the works of three modernist architects,this paper expounds that the"less"of modernist architecture is not"nothing",but the use of new materials and new structures to express the new thinking and aesthetic characteristics of modern architecture through the basic vocabulary of architecture.
