“浑欲不胜簪”之“浑”字解诂

Explanation of the Word“Hun”in“Hun Yu Bu Sheng Zan”

各辞书、教材对杜甫《春望》一诗“浑欲不胜簪”中“浑”字的释义高度一致,均释作“简直”。以历代文献语料为参考,对“浑”字词义演变作系统梳理后,认为以“简直”训“浑”欠妥,“浑”当为“完全、全然”义。

All dictionaries and textbooks are highly consistent in the interpretation of the word“Hun”in Du Fu’s poem“Hun Yu Bu Sheng Zan”from Chunwang,and they are all interpreted as“simply”.After systematically sorting out the evolution of the meaning of the word“Hun”with the help of literature corpus,the author believes that it is not appropriate to interprete“Hun”as“simply”,and“Hun”should be regarded as“entirely”.
