Tulipa gesneriana,rich in colors and graceful,is deeply loved by the broad masses and widely used in urban landscaping and greening.In this paper,a detailed introduction was made to the open-field cultivation techniques for the species from such aspects as land preparation before planting,seed bulb disinfection,post-planting water and fertilizer management,disease and pest control and seed bulb collection and storage,with the aim of providing reference for promoting application of the species.
