The symbolic form of socialist ideology,with the symbolic meaning,manifests as a special symbol system utilizing the medium of people,objects and behaviors. It has the practical peculiarity of the attribute of people as the subject of signification,the advanced concrete expression and the scientific nature of the medium supply. According to the value process of the symbolic form of socialist ideology,it mainly reflects that the symbolic value is acquired from people’s identity and internalized into the daily life of the people with conscious choice. Moreover,in the new era,it is confronted with three problems including the insignificance of abusive artistic symbols,weak ability of expression under the influence of the vulgarization of consumptive symbols,and the confusion of media because of the generalization of political symbols. Apparently,in order to solve these problems,the strategies of value should be implemented during the operation of the symbolic form of socialist ideology,including prominent expression of the people’s principal position in the link of meaning construction,scientific symbolic operation in the link of concrete expression,and intermediary integration and governance in the link of transmission of media system.
