After 30 years of development,railway value-insured transportation has played an important role in protecting the rights and interests of customers,improving freight safety,and promoting railway services.The development of railway freight insurance has an impact on the railway value-insured transportation market.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to explore the integrated development of railway value-insured transportation and freight insurance.After analyzing their current situation,this paper compared the complementarities and differences between the two in terms of business nature,coverage of insurance,legal basis,and compensation period.In view of the challenges faced by the integrated development of railway value-insured transportation and freight insurance,this paper put forward countermeasures accordingly from the aspects of development mode,policy integration,information exchange,and training of versatile talents.
