甘蔗新品种桂糖53号的选育与种性评价

The Breeding and Species Evaluation of a New Sugarcane Variety Guitang53

桂糖53号是广西壮族自治区农业科学院甘蔗研究所以湛蔗92-126为母本、CP84-1198为父本进行有性杂交,采用"五圃制"常规杂交育种技术选育而成的甘蔗新品种。经多年多点试验结果表明:该品种早熟高糖、高产、宿根性强、抗病、抗倒伏,在蔗糖分、产量方面较对照ROC22均具备明显优势,尤其是宿根蔗产量和耐机收能力方面的优势更突出。该品种适合广西的桂中、桂西、桂南蔗区种植,有条件的蔗区可采用全程机械化技术进行生产,以提高效益。该品种于2020年7月通过国家非主要农作物品种登记,登记编号:GPD甘蔗(2020)450035。

Guitang53 was a new sugarcane variety developed by the Sugarcane Research Institute of the Guangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences, which was taken Zhanzhe92-126 as the female parent and CP84-1198 as the male parent by "Five gardens" of conventional breeding technique. The results of multi-point tests for many years showed that this variety had early maturity, high sugar content, high yield, strong ratooning,disease resistance and lodging resistance. It had obvious advantages when compared with the control ROC22 on the sucrose content and yield, especially the yield of ratoon sugarcane and the tolerance ability of mechanical harvest. The advantages in this respect were more prominent. It was suitable for planting in sugarcane areas of central, western and southern Guangxi. The sugarcane areas with conditions could carry out the whole-process mechanized technology for production to improve efficiency. This variety passed the national non-major crop variety registration in July 2020, registration number was GPD Sugarcane(2020) 450035.
