Empirical Analysis on the Influential Factors of the Elderly Health in China Based on CHARLS Data

基于2018年中国健康与养老追踪调查的调查数据,从基本信息、行为情况、心理情况及医疗服务4个方面入手,探索研究中国老年人的健康影响因素。通过卡方的独立性检验进行初步的筛选,找出与自评健康之间具有相关性的变量,再利用二分类Logistic模型进一步挖掘出影响因素,最终筛选出年龄、居住地类别、受教育水平等因素对我国老年人健康具有显著的影响。

Based on the data set of the CHARLS(2018),this paper explores the factors affecting the health of the elderly in China from four aspects:basic information,behavioral conditions,psychological conditions and medical services.Preliminary screening is carried out through the Chi-square test to find out the variables that are related to health,and the logistic model is applied to investigate the influencing factors.Finally,our empirical analysis gives the factors that can affect the health of the elderly in our country,such as age,residence category,education level,etc.
