传染性角膜结膜炎,俗称“红眼病”,主要发生在天气炎热和湿度较高的夏秋季节,是主要危害牛羊的一种急性传染性眼部疾病。2020年夏季,天祝县毛藏乡牦牛发生该病,病牛的眼结膜和角膜有明显的炎症,伴有大量的流泪,其后发生角膜混浊或呈乳白色。该病发生范围广泛,虽然不是一种致死性传染病,但由于病畜一侧或双眼暂时失明,影响采食,对养殖业带来一定的经济损失。早发现、早治疗是扑灭该病的有效措施。

Infectious corneal conjunctivitis,commonly known as“red eye disease”,mainly occurs in summer and autumn with hot weather and high humidity.It is an acute infectious eye disease mainly endangering cattle and sheep.In the summer of 2020,the disease occurred in Yaks in Maozang township,Tianzhu county.The eye conjunctiva and cornea of the sick cattle had obvious inflammation,accompanied by a large number of tears,and then the cornea was turbid or milky white.The disease occurs in a wide range.Although it is not a fatal infectious disease,it affects feeding and brings certain economic losses to the breeding industry due to the temporary blindness of one or both eyes of the sick animals.Early detection and treatment are effective measures to put out the disease.
