摘要
国际化经营是一项高风险、高挑战性的跨国界经营活动。传统理论普遍认为国际化经验可以降低风险、积累能力,有助于企业提高国际化绩效,但是国际化经验在发挥积极作用的同时,也可能引致企业陷入学习陷阱,从而产生国际化经验悖论。本文整合已有研究,指出了经验学习错误的三种类型:识别错误、认知错误和演绎错误,以解释国际化经验悖论的形成机制。在此基础上,本文进一步提出了破解国际化经验悖论的策略,以期为中国企业更好地开展国际化经营提供有益建议。
Internationalization operation is usually described as a high-risk and high-challenge cross-border business activity.Traditional theories generally believed that learning internationalization experience can help enterprises reduce risks,increase capabilities,and improve their international performance eventually.However,learning internationalization experience can not only bring positive effects,but also induce firms to fall into learning traps,hence the paradox of internationalization experience.Focusing on this paradox and integrating the results of previous studies in this regard,this paper identifies three types of error in experiential learning:recognition error,cognitive error,and deduction error,so as to elucidate the mechanism for the formation of the so-called paradox of internationalization experience.On this basis,this paper provides some insightful strategies to untangle the paradox of internationalization experience,hoping to provide useful suggestions for Chinese companies to better carry out international operations.
