荥阳市博物馆藏青铜器考述

On Bronzes Held by Xingyang Museum

本文通过对荥阳博物馆近年收藏的几件毛国青铜器进行简要介绍和铭文释读,并与三门峡虢季墓等墓葬出土的同类器进行类比,初步推测这几件器物的年代为春秋早期。该批青铜器或与周王室东迁雒邑的历史有关,为研究毛国的历史、地望提供了新的资料。

This article contains a brief introduction of several pieces of bronzeware of Vassal State Mao,which have been collected by Xingyang Museum in recent years,an interpretation of inscriptions on them,as well as a comparative study of these bronzes and the same kind of bronze items unearthed from Guoji’s tomb in Sanmenxia and other tombs.These bronzes,which,according to preliminary speculation,date back to early Spring and Autumn Period and are probably linked with the royals of Zhou Dynasty relocating eastward to Luo Yi,contribute to the research into the history and geographic position of Vassal State Mao.
