On White Porcelain Shards Unearthed from Taiping Fang in Chang’an City of Tang Dynasty

本文对长安城太平坊白瓷样本的显微结构、化学组成等进行测试分析,探讨了唐代白瓷的来源、烧制工艺、生产和运输情况。并从消费端的角度分析探究了唐代平民的白瓷消费需求。为进一步研究唐代白瓷生产和唐代社会生活奠定基础。

This article contains analyses of the microstructure and chemical composition of while porcelain samples unearthed from the ruins of Taiping Fang in Chang’an City,discusses the origin of white porcelain kilns,techniques applied,production and transportation,and explores common people’s demand for white porcelain from the perspective of consumption,laying a foundation for the research into white porcelain production back in Tang Dynasty and conditions of contemporary social life.
