新媒体语境中高校“污名化”的反思与治理

Rethinking and Governing the“Stigmatization”of Colleges and Universities in the Context of New Media

在新媒体发展迅猛、竞争日趋激烈的当下,新媒体为了“涨粉丝”“圈流量”热衷炒作高校的负面新闻,对高校进行“污名化”,使高校在公众心目中的声誉受损、形象蒙羞。长此以往,弱化了青年人报考大学的意愿,导致高校生源流失,高等教育质量下滑,一流大学建设困难,进而影响立德树人目标实现,从长远看甚至会造成国家经济社会发展人才的短缺和创新创业能力的不足。面对愈演愈烈的诋毁风潮,政府、公众、媒体和高校认真反思,加强舆情应对和舆论引导,探索开辟新媒体与高校良性互动、协同发展的有效路径。

Nowadays,as a result of the rapid development and fierce competition,new media is obsessed with hyping up negative news,stigmatizing colleges and universities,in order to maintain a huge fan base and high Internet traffic.Such stigmatization damages the reputation of colleges and universities and smears their images in public.If things go on like this,the sacred and decent image of colleges and universities would be smeared,and what’s more,the youth would be reluctant to apply for colleges and universities,which would result in the loss of college students and the decline in higher education quality,and would impede the building of first-class universities,thereby hindering the realization of the aim of building morality and cultivating talents.In the long run,it will even cause a shortage of talents for national economic growth and social development as well as insufficiency of innovation and entrepreneurship.Facing such a growing trend of slander,the government,the public,the media,and colleges and universities should seriously reflect,strengthen the response and guidance of public opinion and explore an effective approach to positive interaction and cooperation between new media and universities.
