Analysis of the Supervisor Factors Affecting the Quality of Doctoral Degree Awarding and Countermeasures

博士研究生是我国最高层次专门人才,全面提升博士学位授予质量是新时期我国学位与研究生教育发展的重要目标。提高研究生学位授予质量,特别是博士学位授予质量,是我国研究生教育从规模发展到内涵建设关键时期的核心任务。导师是研究生培养和思想政治教育第一责任人,也是博士学位授予质量的关键因素。研究生培养过程是影响学位质量的关键所在,根据研究生教育和博士研究生培养的现状,指出了博士研究生培养过程中存在的问题,从导师因素进行了分析,从招生体制改革、博士生培养过程、质量监控、导师培训和考核等方面提出相应对策。

Doctoral students are the highest level of specialized talents in China,and to comprehensively improve the quality of doctoral degree awarding is an essential goal for the development of degree awarding and graduate education in the new era.Improving the quality of graduate degree awarding,especially the quality of doctoral degree awarding,is a core task in the critical period of China’s graduate education from scale development to connotation construction.Supervisor is the first person responsible for graduate training and students’ideological and political education.Thus,supervisor is a key factor affecting the quality of doctoral degree awarding,and graduate training process is also a key factor affecting the quality of degree awarding.Based on the present situation of the graduate student education and doctoral training,this paper first points out the problems existing in the process of graduate education,then analyzes how supervisors affect the quality of degree awarding,and finally put forward corresponding countermeasures from such aspects as the reform of enrollment system,the process of doctoral education,monitoring of quality,and the training and evaluation of supervisors.
