The year 2021 has been a momentous year for China-Africa cooperation,with a series of important events benefiting both China and African countries,despite the impact of the pandemic.These events include the just-concluded Second China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo,the upcoming China International Import Expo,and,importantly,the eighth meeting of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation(FOCAC),which is to be held in Dakar,Senegal.
