Professor Jin Yuanlin founded the pricking and medicated cupping therapy by studying ancient books.The therapy integrated the three methods of pricking blood,cupping and fumigation of traditional Chinese medicine.It had the functions of promoting Qi and activating blood circulation,removing blood stasis and generating new energy.This paper discussed Professor JIN Yuan-lin's experience in the application of pricking and medicated cupping therapy from the aspects of composition,innovation,specific operation and clinical application,and attached typical medical records and experience.
