中小学生英语阅读素养发展现状及对策建议

摘要 在国内外英语阅读素养概念内涵及评价方式不断拓展的背景下,对北京市五所学校五、八、十一年级的270位中小学生英语阅读素养发展现状进行了抽样问卷调查。结果显示大部分学生认识到英语阅读的重要性,能够根据自己的喜好或教师的推荐开展课外阅读,解码能力和阅读理解能力尚可,但朗读能力和朗读习惯还有待改善,复述、仿写、续写等阅读表达能力有所欠缺。学校和教师创设的阅读环境、文化氛围及课程规划对学生英语阅读素养的发展有着显著的影响。建议学校和教师建设系统的英语阅读课程,拓展阅读题材和体裁,以提升学生英语朗读和表达等能力,进而充分培育学生自主学习的意识,发挥英语阅读的育人价值。 In the context of the continuous expansion of the concept connotation and evaluation methods of English reading accomplishment at home and abroad,a questionnaire survey has been conducted on the development status of English reading accomplishment among 270 primary and secondary school students of grade 5,grade 8,grade 11 from five schools in Beijing.The results show that most of the students realize the importance of English reading and can do extra-curricular reading according to their own preferences or teachers’recommendations;that their decoding ability and reading comprehension ability are acceptable,but their reading ability and reading habit need to be improved,and their reading and expressing abilities,such as retelling,imitating writing and continuing writing are lacking;and that the reading environment,cultural atmosphere and curriculum planning created by schools and teachers have a significant impact on the development of students’English reading accomplishment.It is suggested that schools and teachers should set up systematic English reading courses,expand reading themes and genres,improve students’ability of reading aloud and expressing,so as to fully cultivate students’awareness of independent learning and fulfill the educational value of English reading.
