收入会影响双薪家庭夫妇的无酬劳动时间吗?——来自CFPS的经验证据

Does Income Affect the Unpaid Work Hours of Dual-earner Couples?:An Empirical Evidence from CFPS

利用2010年中国家庭追踪调查数据,建立Tobit模型,从相对资源观点、社会性别观点、性别偏差中和方法和自主性观点等理论视角考察收入对双薪家庭夫妇无酬劳动时间的影响。结果显示,妻子的无酬劳动时间显著高于丈夫;妻子的家务劳动时间和育儿时间均会随着相对收入和配偶绝对收入的提高而减少;丈夫的家务劳动时间和育儿时间均与相对收入呈倒U型关系,但会随着自身绝对收入的提高而减少。

Using the data from the 2010 Chinese Family Panel Studies,a Tobit model was established to investigate the impact of income on unpaid work hours of dual-earner couples from the theoretical perspectives of relative resources,gender,gender deviance neutralization and autonomy.The results show that the wives’unpaid work hours is significantly higher than that of the husbands;the wives’housework hours and childcare hours will decrease with the increase in relative income and the absolute income of their spouses;the husbands’housework hours and childcare hours have an inverted U-shaped relationship with their relative income,but they will decrease as their absolute income increase.
